The Twelfth Fret ~ Since 1977 ~

❌SOLD❌ Fender Telecaster Blonde, 1972

Instrument Categories: , , ,

This Fender Telecaster Blonde is built during 1972 in Fullerton, California, is in good working order and with all original parts and case. For many years, this guitar had the ‘ashtray’ bridge cover in place, and much of the original, lighter blonde colour tone is visible where the cover extended past the bridge. The rest of the finish has naturally yellowed to a very nice butterscotch tone.

This Fender Telecaster Blonde is in good, clean original condition and the wear and natural checking to the finish shows that it’s been used as intended, but fret wear is very light. The neck finish appears to be original and there are no signs of a re-fret. The neck date is January 1972. The pickguard is a three-layer, white-black-white model. The truss rod adjustment is at the heel of the neck. the ‘Bullet’ head-end truss rod adjuster, usually found with the three-bolt ‘Micro Tilt’ neck angle adjustment, started appearing on Stratocasters in 1971, and on Teles during 1972.

This is a lovely piece, in great shape and ready to go!

The original Fender hard shell case is included and it contains the original ‘ashtray’ bridge cover.
