Introduced in 1991 after several years of consultation and development, the Fender Jeff Beck Stratocaster has a number of features tailored to Beck’s playing style. In particular, the trem system components are selected and adjusted to allow the smoothest string movement and best return to pitch, without going to a full double locking trem system.
Here we’re looking at a Fender Jeff Beck Stratocaster in very good, clean condition, built during 2016 in Corona California and sporting a Surf Green finish. The body is lightweight Alder, paired with a Rosewood-fingerboard Maple neck. The trem system starts with a two-point American bridge, a LSR roller – each string runs over a rolling bearing to avoid friction – and a set of staggered-post locking tuners. No string trees! For electronics, this model sports a set of Fender Noiseless pickups.
This example is in very good clean condition with only the slightest wear. It plays well and I’m having problems putting it down to write this!
A hard-shell Gator case is included.
Here is the builder on the Fender Jeff Beck Stratocaster:
“From blistering British Invasion beginnings through a long and acclaimed solo career of remarkable stylistic versatility, Jeff Beck has taken the Stratocaster to unbelievable sonic heights, with one of the most distinctive musical voices ever coaxed from the instrument. With classic style and special features, make his sound and style your own with the Jeff Beck Stratocaster, which ranks among Fender’s most popular and longstanding artist instruments.”
