Part of the Standard Series built from 2009 to 2018, the Fender Jazz Bass LH Standard was built in Ensenada, Mexico and is an excellent mid-range bass.
Leo Fender introduced the Jazz Bass in the summer of 1960, aiming it directly at those bassists who had not yet shifted to electric. The idea was that this model produced a tone closer to the sound of an acoustic bass (though it was also rapidly adopted by Rock players). The Jazz Bass has been in constant production to this day.
Here we’re looking at a Fender Jazz Bass LH – Left Handed – Standard Series bass in very good, clean condition with only the lightest of wear. The body is a fairly dense Alder, the neck Maple with Indian Rosewood for the fingerboard. The truss rod adjuster is at the head end, making adjustments much easier. The parts are entirely original with no real wear. This bass plays well and has that punchy, focused Jazz Bass tone.
