The Fender American Standard Stratocaster debuted in late 1986 and was discontinued in 2016, replaced by the American Elite series. These were the heir to the venerable, original Stratocaster model introduced in 1954. Building on the undisputed success of the Telecaster, the Stratocaster has been one of the most successful musical instruments ever built.
Dating to 2012 and built in Corona, California, this Fender American Standard Stratocaster is in very good, clean condition with very little wear of any kind. The bridge is configured as ‘decked’, sitting flush on the body. The original owner never used the trem system, as evidenced by the stick-on trem arm cover still being in place. The arm itself is still in the sealed plastic package in the case! This example is fully stock and includes non-locking but staggered post tuners, reducing the need for string trees on the headstock.
The original Fender branded, molded case with TSA compliant latches is included, and contains the original strap and sealed bag with case candy and trem arm.
