In 1973 the Fender Deluxe Telecaster was born out of a response to players that wanted a hum-free tone that would push an amp into a sizzling sonic stew! The current Fender American Professional Telecaster Deluxe Shawbucker maintains its heritage while adding a few new modern features.
The new Deep C neck profile of the Fender American Professional Telecaster Deluxe adds more mass and an altered geometry that provides a smooth and natural feel that works equally well for chords and single note lines. The Shawbucker pickups are an open coil humbucker that have tons of dynamics and a thick tonal pallet all while resisting electrical noise. With the treble bleed circuity you can reduce the gain while maintaining your high end and letting your sound still cut through the mix.
The Fender American Professional Telecaster Deluxe Shawbucker comes in three colors. This particular version is the natural ash and it looks stunning in its simplicity. The ash body also delivers a tone which has a great balance between warmth and top end snap. If you love the look and feel of a Telecaster but want to really drive your amp this is the guitar for you.
