Originally released in 1962 the Fender Jaguar has a unique off kilter visual appeal which became a favourite for underground artist from the 70’s all the way up to modern day. The current version of the Fender American Professional Jaguar has been hot rodded for modern players with some updated new features.
The new V mod single coil pickups on the Fender American Professional Jaguar have a redesigned pick-up claw made from nickel silver which provides a hotter tone with vintage warmth that will easily push an amplifier into distortion. These pickups also still retain a good balance of the famous Fender clarity. The new bridge features Mustang saddles and a screw in arm. You can adjust the arm tension until it’s just right for you and the new saddles stay in place as you are working the arm.
Also featured is the new Deep C neck profile which adds more mass and an altered geometry that provides a smooth and natural feel that works equally well for chords and single note lines. The narrow tall frets are equally well suited to string bends and playing chords. The treble-bleed circuit maintains the high end when turning down the volume knob to reduce gain, letting your tone shine through, and no matter where the instrument’s volume is set.
