Here’s a classy piece – a Fender American Original 50s Stratocaster in Aztec Gold from 2018, in good overall condition with a bit of finish wear. This example shows off how great a metallic gold finish can look!
Built with a traditional pairing of an Ash body with Maple neck, the American Original 50s Stratocaster brings back the 1959 style, with a single layer pickguard and three matching Pure Vintage ’59 Single-Coil Strat pickups. The neck profile is a soft V with a slightly fuller feel. Fret wear is light to nonexistent. The pickguard has some light play wear, and there are a few small finish chips – one on the back of the neck near the 11th fret, one by the neck plate and a few by the rear, lower treble side by the cutaway.
This Fender American Original 50s Stratocaster is sold with its original rectangular G&G hard shell case, and it contains the Certificate of Authenticity (COA).
Here’s the builder on the Fender American Original 50s Stratocaster:
“When we released the Stratocaster in 1954, we didn’t set out to create a classic—but we did. The Stratocaster’s sleek style, articulate sound and plethora of innovations redefined electric guitar and opened up a brave new world of musical possibilities. The American Original ‘50s Stratocaster maintains Fender’s legendary original-era style and ground-breaking tone, while adding modern feel and pickup switching.”
