The Tenor-sized Deering Goodtime Banjo Tenor Ukulele has expanded on the original Goodtime Concert Banjo Ukulele by increasing the scale length to 17”. The longer scale Tenor tuning generates more sustain and power at the bridge allowing Deering to marry this Tenor neck to the larger 12” wood rim from Goodtime Americana banjo series.
Traditional Banjo-Ukuleles with their tiny 6” heads simply cannot compare to the rich and full tone of these 12”, wood-tone-ring Goodtime banjos; loud and powerful, they can easily cope with any ensemble setting. Yet they have a surprisingly warm, harmonically rich tone; a joy to play solo in any parlour setting.
