This Deering Golden Era Custom 5-String Banjo is based closely on the standard 2016 Golden Era, but with a radiused fingerboard for easier chording.
Built during 2016 at the Deering plant in Spring Valley California, this Deering Golden Era Custom 5-string banjo is in very good, clean condition with only the slightest wear. Based on the classic banjo designs of the 1930’s, these are great instruments with all the quality of tone, volume and punch one would expect from a professional grade banjo.
Constructed with a ‘Golden Era’ Violin Grade 3-ply Maple Rim with a Deering -06- 20 Hole Bell Bronze Tone Ring and paired with a Curly Maple neck with bound Ebony fingerboard and finished with a Curly Maple resonator, this is an impressive and very well made banjo.
The original Deering hard shell case is included.
