Brand: Dean Guitars
Instrument Categories: Electric, Guitars, SOLD, Solidbody
Built from 2006 to 2008, the Dean USA Soltero MHG is a single-cut, sculpted top solidbody with Mahogany for the body, top and neck, and an Ebony fingerboard.
Dean Zelinsky founded Dean Guitars in 1997 (at age 17) and in 1997 sold the company to Armadillo Enterprises run by the late Elliott Rubinson. In 2008, Zelinsky founded DBZ guitars.
This example dates to 2008 and was built at the Dean Guitars facility in Plant City, Florida. The original Dean custom Time Capsule humbuckers were replaced with EMG models some time ago. This is a solid, hard-tail model, with black hardware including a set of Grover Roto-Matic tuners, Tune-O-Matic style bridge, and a quick-change tailpiece bolted to the top.
This Dean USA Soltero MHG is in good clean condition and has recently been set up with a new nut at The Twelfth Fret Repair Shop. It plays well and cleanly. The characteristic Dean ‘Soft V’ neck profile is quite comfortable to play.
The original Dean branded hard shell case is included.
