Built in very limited numbers the Collings Archtop series of guitars are visually stunning and sonically outstanding! Everything about these guitars screams high class from the premium flame maple back, sides and neck to the high gloss lacquer finish with hand stained Cremona burst. Based on the classic American acoustic archtop f-hole guitars of the 1920’s this guitar has a certain warmth and bass clarity reminiscent of a flat top steel string not to mention excellent responsiveness and projection. This custom ordered pre sold guitar features a shorter 24 7/8″ scale length and Tortoise shell binding which looks incredible with the Cremona burst finish. This guitar is making me want to take up more jazz guitar and probably take out a loan as well!!
