Charvel DK24 guitars are known for their fast playability, wild finishes and pro features at a great price. The purple burst finish on a quilted maple top is sure to stand out as you blaze up and down the 24 fret speed neck with its smooth satin finish.
Here we’re looking at a gently used Charvel DK24 HH QM built during 2018 in Ensenada, Mexico – at the same plants where Fender does their Mexican production. In the name, the HH refers to the pickup layout – two humbuckers – and the QM refers to the Quilted Maple top. It’s in great condition with just light wear. The Purple Burst finish is nicely done and really works well.
The core of the tone from this Charvel DK24 HH QM is provided by a Seymour Duncan Full Shred bridge humbucker and Jazz neck pickup. This combination will go from chunky riffs and soaring leads so warm and full cleans. The added versatility of the coil splits tones from the 5 way blade switch makes this setup even more fun.
Tuning stability is excellent with the string through body hardtail bridge and locking machine heads.
