Here’s a very cool instrument – a Paul Beard Resoluxe solidbody resophonic guitar from 2018, with both Fishman Nashville and a Lollar P-90 pickups!
A fairly new model for Paul Beard, the Beard Resoluxe pairs a solid Mahogany body with a Mahogany neck, with Ebony for the fingerboard and head plate. A 9.5 inch hand spun biscuit cone occupies the top, and has the Fishman Nashville element on the biscuit. The Lollar P-90, a fabulous sounding pickup with full, rich tone, is in the neck position surrounded by a faux-tortoise pickguard. Here, it carries a Sunburst finish.
This Beard Resoluxe dates to 2018 and was built at Paul Beard’s shop in Hagersville, Maryland. It uses no CITES listed woods, so crossing borders with it is not restricted. It’s in very clean condition, with light pick marking on the pickguard – which is what that’s there for! It plays well, and its light weight makes it very comfortable. Acoustically, it’s fairly loud, and of course has the unmistakable tone of a resophonic guitar.
The original hard shell case is included.
