Brand: American Archtop
Instrument Categories: Archtop, Electric, Guitars, SOLD
The American Archtop 7-String Dream fully hollow archtop electric model in Amber tint, was built during 1999 at Stroudsburg PA, just north of Nazareth where American Archtop now operates.
This American Archtop 7-String Dream uses a 17 inch wide, fully hollow body of Maple and Spruce laminates for feedback rejection. This approach has been common since the late 1930s when Gibson started adding pickups to their arch-top models, and quickly discovered that laminates work better at stage volumes. The neck is solid Maple, with Ebony for the fingerboard, bridge, pickguard, nut and tailpiece. This example is in very good, clean condition with no significant wear of any kind.
More From The Builder On The American Archtop 7-String Dream Model:
“Finely selected European three-ply spruce top, highly figured 3 ply maple back with matching solid maple sides. Matching figured maple neck. Ebony for our handmade fingerboard, bridge, tailpiece and finger rest. Crystal clear notes with warm tone and excellent amplified sound. Reviews say our laminate is the best available today.”
Sold with a hard shell case.
