The C. F. Martin Custom Shop just send us two brand new guitars, including this luscious Martin 000-28 with Sitka Spruce and Cocobolo. Built on the classic 000 body size, this spectacular guitar uses the Vintage Tone System to produce the effects of natural aging on wood, particularly the Sitka Spruce top and braces.
Cocobolo is coming to be used more frequently as a tone wood, as it can have some tonal and visual references to Brazilian Rosewood. It often has beautiful figuring and the warmth and power of Brazilian. Of course, as a Martin, the entire guitar is built to the highest standards.
This instrument is brand new, with full warranty. A blue (or slate gray) Martin case is included.
