Established in 1995, Huss & Dalton began when Jeff Huss and Mark Dalton had the idea to build the guitar they wanted to play. While always appreciating the traditional design, both had a vision of a guitar that paid homage to tradition while incorporating improvements in the the structural design and cosmetics of the steel string guitar. With innovation in mind, as well as value, we are pleased to introduce the Road Edition from our friends at Huss & Dalton. These guitars will have the full-on H&D tone and volume in a more affordable package.
Huss & Dalton RD-M Road Edition Mahogany Dreadnought
There are a lot of variations on the theme of the spruce top, mahogany body dreadnought and the Huss & Dalton RD-M brings top rank build quality and design, with a very light weight and lots of volume and sparkling tone.
Huss and Dalton Road Edition guitars are available in limited numbers in Dreadnought or OM body styles. The finish is gloss for the top and satin everywhere else.
Here, the top is Sitka Spruce, Mahogany for the back, sides, and neck with Indian Rosewood for the unbound fingerboard, peghead face and bridge. The body is bound in black with black/white/black top purfling. The nut width is 1-23/32 inch and 2-7/32 inch saddle spacing on a standard 25.5 inch scale length. Both the nut and saddle are bone. A hardshell case is included, and of course the guitar is covered by a limited lifetime warranty.
