❌SOLD❌ Gretsch G6136DSBK Black Falcon, 2013

Brand:

Instrument Categories: , ,

Currently out of production, the Gretsch G6136DSBK – the DS stands for DynaSonic pickups, the BK is the Black Falcon finish – is definitely a standout. The White Falcon gets most of the attention, but the Black Falcon can be even more dramatic.

The Gretsch G6136DSBK is based on mid 1950’s Gretsch models, with deArmond design DynaSonic pickups (made by Seymour Duncan) a ‘Cadillac’ trapeze tailpiece and the 5o’s style Melita bridge. Based on a full 17 inch wide and 2.75 inch deep body with gold sparkle binding, this is basically the same guitar as the White Falcon but with a gloss black finish.

This example was built during March of 2013 at the Terada plant. The build quality is very high and the guitar itself is in very good condition with the slightest wear. The original Gretsch hardshell case is included.

While this particular Black Falcon is out of production now, click here to see the current Gretsch G6136CST White Falcon that’s equipped like this guitar.
