Brand: National Resophonic Guitars

The National Tricone has a long history – it was the original reso-phonic design by John Dopyera and George Beauchamp around 1927, as an early volley in the volume wars. Even then, stage volumes were rising and electrical amplification wasn’t available and many approaches were explored; the reso-phonic design is one of the few that have survived.
Here we have a 2012 National Reso-Phonic Tricone 1.5 in antique brass finish and with cutaway, and with a Highlander pickup system installed and pre-amp includcded. This exceptional instrument is in very good condition and the original hard-shell, arched top National case is included.
