The Robin Savoy Classic is a spectacular single cutaway thinline archtop electric guitar built in Houston, Texas by David Wintz until 2010 when Robin ceased production. The parent company still builds Rio Grande pickups, which are used on this guitar.

This is a 2004 Robin Savoy Classic in very good condition, with a stunning, very highly figured, quilted maple top and a pair of Rio Grande / Muy Grande pickups – a Genuine Texas for the neck position and Barbeque for the bridge. The controls include master volume and tone, with push/pull pots on both to tap the pickups. The guitar is based on a maple top with carved-out mahogany back, and mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard. The antique burst finish really sets off the quilting, which can look several inches deep. It plays well, and a TKL hardshell case is included.

Robin Guitars ceased production in 2010.
