The Gibson Les Paul Special is one of my favourite designs. While simple and uncomplicated, it offers full access to the neck, is comfortably light, and sounds great. The double cutaway mahogany slab body echoes the 1959 model and has its own elegance. The Les Paul Special was originally introduced in 1955
This Les Paul Special sports a sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish and is in good condition with only light wear and a few small marks. Fret wear is minimal. It was built in the Gibson Nashville Custom Shop, dates to February 6, 1997 and is in original condition. It has a pair of P-90’s and Kluson-style tuners with creme plastic buttons. A flat-top hardshell case is included.
