❌SOLD❌ Ramirez Model 1a Classical Guitar Cedar Top Brazilian Rosewood, 1971

The Ramirez Model 1a is the benchmark for professional grade concert classical guitars. Available in full 650 and longer scale lengths, this is one the instruments that brought the style to prominence in the 1960s. Here we’re looking at a long scale – 664mm – Ramirez Model 1a built during 1971 at Concepcion Jeronima No. 2, the shop Ramirez occupied from 1882 to 1971. In the early 1960s, growing demand required that the real production move to a new location, on Calle del Gral. Margallo, and in 1971, the storefront was moved across the street to Concepcion Jeronima No. 2.

❌SOLD❌ Fender American Series Telecaster Rosewood Board Sunburst, 2005

The Fender American Series Telecaster was built from 2000 to 2007, renamed from (and then back to!) the American Standard Telecaster. It presents many of the best improvements to this venerable design.
Leo Fender’s design, quickly becoming the Telecaster, has arguably been one of the most successful and influential musical instruments ever. It has been in continuous production since the early 1950’s, with really only relatively minor changes and improvements.

❌SOLD❌ Hagstrom Jimmy Archtop Electric Guitar Sunburst, 1977

Considered one of their finest guitars, the Hagstrom Jimmy archtop electric was designed by Jimmy D’Aquisto, the renowned successor to John D’Angelico. In 1969, Karl Erik Hagstrom was able to bring James D’Aquisto to Sweden to design and prototype guitars. Working at the Hagstrom Bjarton plant in Bjärnum, the Jimmy was laid out and ten guitars were built. Subsequently, about 480 were produced, of a more or less conventional design using a hollow 16 inch wide body with pair of F-holes and two pickups. Production ended when the Bjarton plant closed.

❌SOLD❌ Fender Stratocaster Antigua Maple Neck Hard Tail, 1979

❌SOLD❌ Fender Stratocaster Antigua Maple Neck Hard Tail, 1979

Fender produced the Stratocaster Antigua in limited numbers during the 1970’s. This unusual finish is like a grey to pale yellow sunburst, often with a greenish tint. The Antigua finish started as a way to fix a problem with burned binding on Coronados, and was extended to other models. Here we have a hard tail, maple neck version of the 1979 Stratocaster Antigua. Built in Fullerton, California while CBS still owned Fender, this guitar is in good, all original condition.
