This unique instrument features a two piece top – Spruce and Cedar – with Indian Rosewood for the sides and back, Central American Mahogany for the neck and Ebony for the fingerboard and bridge. Last year we received our first Small Jumbo model from Bourgeois and I was so impressed with the guitar that we just had to get another one. However, instead of ordering the exact same guitar I thought that I would ask Dana what exotic wood he may have around the shop that we could use. His answer: figured Bubinga! Right on, now we are talking custom! The idea behind the Small Jumbo body size is a guitar that is more comfortable and manageable but still retains a lot of the power and tonal depth that you get from a larger instrument. Let me tell you this guitar delivers the goods!!
