❌SOLD❌ Eastman E10 OOSS Steel String Acoustic Sunburst, 2015

The Eastman E10 OOSS is a rebuild of a classic – the OO body shape with an Adirondack Spruce top and Mahogany back, sides and neck with Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. This design comes from the 1898 Martin OO18, which was built until 1995, and again since 2006 with a few variations. The OO body is a bit larger and louder than the ‘Parlor Guitar’ size, and closer to the volume of a classical guitar body. These are known as being tonally very well balanced, with good clarity and separation between notes. They make excellent fingerstyle guitars.

The Maple neck is short scale – 30.3 inch or 770mm – and has a bound Rosewood fingerboard, plus a dual-action truss rod.

❌SOLD❌ Sergei de Jonge 630mm Classical Guitar, 2007

❌SOLD❌ Sergei de Jonge 630mm Classical Guitar, 2007

This classical guitar was built during 2007 at the current de Jonge shop in Chelsea, Quebec. It is a smaller scale model, with 630mm scale length and 50mm nut. The top is lattice-braced Spruce, and the sides, back, headplate and bridge are Indian Rosewood. The neck is Mahogany with an Ebony fingerboard. Tuners are Gotoh models, satin gold plated with marbled plastic buttons. There is one dot position marker on the fingerboard bass edge, at the 7th fret. The neck is not attached in the traditional Spanish style, where it is mated to the sides, but instead there is some sort of tenon or dovetail joint.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson EB-0 Bass Refinished Natural, 1965

It’s sometimes hard to remember that for a time, the Fender bass design wasn’t completely dominant and the Gibson EB-0 was on many hit records. During much of the 1960’s, Gibson’s EB models were used by players like Jack Bruce and Felix Pappilardi and delivered a huge, deep sound.
