This well used Sergei de Jonge Classical guitar was built during 1998 in de Jonge Toronto shop of Spruce and Indian Rosewood. Sergei de Jonge builds many excellent, professional grade instruments, and he also has taught many other builders. Some already accomplished builders take shorter sessions focusing on areas where de Jonge specializes, particularly French Polish finishing.

❌SOLD❌ PRS S2 Starla With Bigsby, Mahogany 2014

No longer available in this form, the PRS S2 Starla with Bigsby was first introduced in 2008 as the Starla, the only PRS model using a Bigsby vibrato unit. Presently, the Starla fits in the PRS line at a higher price and with a hardtail. Using a simple construction style, the PRS S2 Starla with Bigsby combines a Mahogany neck with Mahogany body and a 22-fret Indian Rosewood fingerboard. The neck joint has a nicely asymmetrical heel that’s quite comfortable and helps with access to the upper frets. Position markers are the distinctive PRS birds.

SOLD!! Vega Style X No.9 Tenor Banjo, 1926

Here, we’re looking at a Vega Style X Number 9 Tenor Banjo, built in Boston during 1926. Typical of higher end banjos of the era, it is adorned with engraved Mother of Pearl Inlays which are in lovely condition, and the engravings have been re-filled. The banjo features a tube-a-phone tone ring and Maple is used for the neck and dowel. The heel is hand carved, also typical of the era. The backstrap, the wood covering the back of the head, plus the head plate, are Rosewood.

This Guild D40SB was built during 1975 while the company was in Westerly, Rhode Island. It has definitely been used as its maker intended, and has the wear and repairs to show for it! The Guild D40SB is a dreadnought guitar (hence the D) with 40 level materials and appointments and a Sunburst finish top (the SB in the model number). Similar in concept to the Martin D-18, the Guild D40 pairs a Sitka Spruce top with tropical Mahogany for the sides, back, body blocks, back bracing and neck, with Rosewood for the bridge and un-bound fingerboard.
