Goya T-Style Guitar Made in Japan Blonde, 1977 (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)

Goya T-Style Guitar Made in Japan Blonde, 1977 (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)

Here’s a rarity! This is a Goya T-Style copy, built during 1977 by Matsumoku in Nagoya, Japan, under contract to the Martin Guitar company. This Goya T-Style guitar is a decent copy, though not exact. Unusually, it is complete and original, with the ‘Ashtray’ bridge cover and the original hard shell case. The body is Ash, and the neck is Maple, but the fingerboard is a separate Maple slab.

❌SOLD❌ Takamine LTD 2012C Michi Black, 2012

❌SOLD❌ Takamine LTD 2012C Michi Black, 2012

The nylon string Takamine LTD 2021C ‘Michi’ was one of the 2012 limited edition models from Takamine, paired with a steel-string version. ‘Michi’ translates to ‘Path’ or ‘Road’, and the intention was to commemorate Takamine’s 50th anniversary. The Takamine LTD 2021C ‘Michi’ model is unusual in a number of ways. It is a long-scale – 660mm or just shy of 25 inches – nylon string guitar with solid Spruce top and solid Indian Rosewood for the bridge and back (Laminate for the sides), with Mahogany for the body blocks and neck and Ebony fingerboard.

❌SOLD❌ Gretsch G6119-1959 Chet Atkins Tennessee Rose, Flagstaff Sunset Red, 2007

Here is a very cool and rather rare Gretsch G6119-1959 Chet Atkins Tennessee Rose, much like a single-pickup Anniversary model with Trestle bracing and zero fret – and in Flagstaff Sunset Red! This is a reproduction of a guitar known to have been built to a total of about one thousand instruments with open F-Holes. At this time, Chet Atkins was working with Gretsch to reduce feedback as volumes continued to rise, and two main approaches were taken.

Here’s a very clean, all original 2016 Gretsch G6128 Duo Jet in Black, with vintage-style Bigsby B3 V-cut tailpiece and Space Control bridge. This model uses the 1959 style electronics layout with two Filter ‘Trons – apparently not by TV Jones as there is no T designation – pickup selector, tone selector, plus individual and master Volume controls.

❌SOLD❌ Godin XTSA Cherry, 2005 and Roland GR-55 Guitar Synthesizer, 2011

Here’s a neat pairing – a Godin XTSA solidbody electric in Cherry finish with a Roland GR-55 Guitar Synthesizer floor unit! The Godin XTSA is a solidbody electric with a pair of humbuckers and a single coil in HSH configuration, and its hardware includes a trem bridge with L R Baggs transducer saddles leading to a 13-pin output to drive a synth unit like the Roland GR-55 included here.
