MORE →The Hofner 500/2 Club Bass Cavern spacing is a limited edition instrument based on the mid 1960’s hollow body single cutaway Club Bass, with ‘Cavern’ or ‘Close’ spacing pickups. The version seen here carries a ‘Relic’ vintage sunburst finish, and was shown at the 2019 NAMM extravaganza in Anaheim, California. This is a new instrument, delivering the look and tone of a vintage Club bass.

MORE →Introduced in 2001, the Dean HardTail is one of the less common Dean models. Not as wild as some of Dean Zelinsky’s designs, the HardTail is a straight ahead but classy guitar. Dean Zelinsky founded his company in 1976 in Chicago, Illinois and began producing guitars using inventive and radical shapes. THese often drew on designs such as the Explorer and Flying V, but only as a starting point; they were much more visually arresting in terms of shapes and finishes. Dean guitars quickly became popular with major acts on the world’s largest stages.

MORE →Built from 1950 to 1958, the CF-100 is based on a standard smaller bodied steel string guitar, but with a Florentine (pointed) cutaway. The reissue models are built at the Gibson Acoustic Custom Shop in Bozeman, Montana, and feature Sitka Spruce tops with Mahogany for the sides, back, neck, tail and neck blocks. The bound fingerboard is Rosewood, as is the through-saddle bridge.
