MORE →The Gibson ES-345 is the middle range of Gibson’s ES Thinline series and first appeared in 1958, using the new Seth Lover designed Humbucking pickups.
It’s a real treat to see and play a relatively early model ES-345, this one built in 1964 at the Gibson plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and especially one in such good physical and playing condition. This guitar has been refretted and plays very nicely. The finish is in good condition, especially considering that it’s been played enough to require a refret; there is a fair amount of finish wear on the back of the neck between the 3rd and 7th positions to bare wood, but there are no dents or dings.
