The Gibson SG Custom began its career as a radically re-worked version of the Les Paul Custom, along with the SG Standard. Gibson was faced with poor sales of the original single-cut Les Paul model, and in 1960 began to introduce a much lighter double-cutaway version that allowed unrestricted access to all of the neck.

Built in Germany during 2014, this is a Hofner 500/1 Vintage ’62 Reissue version, sometimes named the ‘Mersey bass’. It’s very close in design to the 1963 version used by Paul McCartney on more than a few successful recordings and appearances. The Hofner 500-1 violin bass is one of the world’s most recognizable basses.

Built in Los Angeles during 1982, this refinished B.C. Rich Eagle features Mahogany, Maple and Koa neck-through construction. The center neck-through section is Koa, with Maple strips separating it from the Mahogany wings. The 24-fret fingerboard is Indian Rosewood, with diamond inlays and the upper register access is nearly unrestricted.

The Gibson Kalamazoo Award was originally designed and built by Gibson craftsman Wilbur Fuller as a completely hand-tuned archtop using the finest materials available. It is a spectacular demonstration of the skills involved in building a top-rank archtop guitar. This example dates to October 3rd, 1980 and was built in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It is in exceptional condition with wear limited to light fret wear in the lower positions.

The Rickenbacker 360 is an iconic instrument originally designed by Roger Rossmeisl in 1958 as a flat-topped, thin hollow body model with top and back binding. Halfway through 1964, the Rickenbacker 360 gained a New Style body to further differentiate the 360 from the 330. The New Style body is Maple, but has a chambered top with very rounded edges and integrated sides.
