❌SOLD❌ Gibson CS336 Compact Thinline Archtop Electric Burgundy, 2001

While it has strong visual similarities to the popular ES-339, the Gibson CS336 compact thinline has significant differences in construction. Instead of using separate materials for the top, back and sides, the CS336 has back and sides carved from a single block of mahogany with a carved, book matched Flame maple top. The Gibson CS-336 came out of the Custom Shop in 2001, five years after the 1996 introduction of the ES-339.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Firebird Cherry, 2019 NOS

Built at the Gibson Nashville plant, the new Gibson Firebird closely – but not entirely – follows the original construction concepts of the first Firebirds. Most importantly, this is a neck-through design, with the neck and the body built up of a total of five pieces of Mahogany over their length, and four Walnut strips bracketing the center sections. This multi-piece construction is used to provide extra stability over the long section.

❌SOLD❌ Ibanez Musician MC500 Solidbody Dark Stain, 1979

❌SOLD❌ Ibanez Musician MC500 Solidbody Dark Stain, 1979

The Ibanez Musician MC500 appeared as Ibanez hit its stride and moved away from straight copies of US models, and was built from late 1977 as a 1978 model to 1980. The Musician series used a multi-piece, neck-through design and active electronics, all quite possibly influenced by the Alembic instruments of the day. Overall, the goal was to provide maximum sustain, stability and tonal versatility in a professional grade package.

NO LONGER AVAILABLE!!! Fender 1956 Precision Bass Sunburst

The Fender 1956 Precision Bass was a transition model and the last production version of this fantastically influential instrument before it took its final form in 1957. Introduced in 1951 with a ‘slab’ body and single coil pickup, the Precision Bass was rapidly popular and in 1954 gained ‘comfort contours’ to match the new Stratocaster model. In 1957, the P-Bass was revised with a larger headstock, new pickguard and the two-coil humbucking pickup that Fender, like most manufacturers, had been developing.

Gibson Les Paul Standard Cherryburst, 1998 ❌SOLD❌

Gibson Les Paul Standard Cherryburst, 1998 ❌SOLD❌

Here we’re looking at a Gibson Les Paul Standard Cherryburst dating to December 16th 1998 and built at the Gibson Nashville plant. It is in overall good original condition with some light wear on the back in the form of light scratches, and a number of small dents and dings around the body particularly where the player’s arm rests on the lower bass bout. It has little other wear, including negligible fret wear, and plays well. The pickups used on this Gibson Les Paul Standard are the original 498R and 490T set with chrome plated covers, and the original pickguard is still in place.
