❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul Custom White, 2007

Here in very good condition – and very white – the Gibson Les Paul Custom built during 2007 in Nashville. This clean example is in original condition with minimal wear to the finish or gold plating, though there is some wear to the plating where the player normally touched it – the bass end of the bridge and the metal tuner buttons, for example.

❌SOLD❌ Moser ‘Red Eye’ Graphic, 1989

❌SOLD❌ Moser 'Red Eye' Graphic, 1989

This Neal Moser ‘Red Eye’ model features one of the more distinctive and unusual finishes we’ve seen, and these were a specialty of Moser while working with GMW Guitar Works. Neal Moser has a long and varied history in the guitar business. While working with Bernardo Rico, Moser met Wayne Charvel. This led to an introduction to Lee Garver, owner of GMW Guitar Works in Glendora, California, and Dan Lawrence, owner of DRL Graphics and GMP Guitars in nearby San Dimas.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul Standard Honey Burst, 2011

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul Standard Honey Burst, 2011

The Gibson Les Paul Standard from 2011 is a bit different from a number of other years, based on a chambered Mahogany body. At 8 pounds, this is one of the lightest Les Paul Standards around – and it looks great. Dating to March 09, 2011 and built in Nashville, this Gibson Les Paul Standard with Honey Burst finish looks a lot like a lovely early Burst with a nicely but not wildly flamed bookmatched Maple top.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Super 400 Archtop Electric Sunburst, 1954

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Super 400 Archtop Electric Sunburst, 1954

The Gibson Super 400 strode above most others when giant archtops roamed the earth, and is still one of the largest production guitars made. Making its introduction in 1934 as the ‘Super L-5 Deluxe’, the non-cutaway model was quickly joined by a cutaway model, initially named the Super 400 P for ‘Premiere’. The ‘400’ designation was originally a reference to the price.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Custom Shop SG Metallic Emerald Green, 1993

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Custom Shop SG Metallic Emerald Green, 1993

Here we have another rarity – from September 1993, a Gibson Custom Shop SG in Emerald Green Metallic finish with gold hardware and pearloid pickguard! The Gibson SG had been produced for three years before it gained the name ‘SG’. It was originally introduced in 1961 as a complete redesign of the then-unpopular single cutaway, carved Maple top Les Paul model. An additional driving factor was addressing Fender’s characterization of Gibson as old-fashioned.

❌SOLD❌ Heritage H-575 Antique Natural, 1994

The Heritage H-575, built at the historic Parsons Street plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan takes visual cues from the classic Gibson ES-175, but there are major differences in construction and materials. When Gibson introduced the ‘ES’ or ‘Electric Spanish’ designation, archtops were the most commonly used models on bandstands because of their superior volume and projection.
