The Martin OM-18GE 1930, replicating the specifications for the new-for-1930 Orchestra Model, was built from 2003 to 2009. The Orchestra Model was originally designed for Percy Bechtel, a prominent banjoist and band leader in the 1920s, to aid transition from banjo to guitar. Construction of the Martin OM-18GE 1930 model closely follows the original spec, with an Adirondack Spruce top, Tropical Mahogany for the sides, back, body blocks and neck.

This mandolin features a carved & graduated spruce top with tone bars, lightly figured maple back & sides, a maple neck with radiused ebony fingerboard, ebony Weber bridge, cast Weber tailpiece, raised fingerboard extension, full 14″ scale length and ivoroid top binding! One of the best examples of the Dreadnought design available, this Collings D2H Natural is nearly new, built during early 2021 in Austin, Texas. This standard model features Sitka Spruce for the top and bracing, East Indian Rosewood for the sides, back and head plate, Honduran Mahogany for the body blocks and neck, and Ebony for the bridge and fingerboard. This pristine guitar has virtually no wear and very little playing time, and despite its voice not yet being developed has a full, rich tone with plenty of volume and projection
