SOLD!!! Beard Deco Phonic Model 27 Resophonic Guitar Sunburst

SOLD!!! Beard Deco Phonic Model 27 Resophonic Guitar Sunburst

New from Paul Beard Guitars in Hagerstown Maryland, the Beard Deco Phonic Model 27 square neck evokes the Art Deco stylings of the late 1920s when resophonic guitars were introduced. Using a classic single-resonator design, the Model 27 uses Finnish Birch laminates for the body, solid maple for the neck, and Morado (also called Pau Ferro) for the 25 inch scale fingerboard, and ebony / maple bridge inserts. On the Model 27, the top is bound. These wood choices make the guitar completely CITIES compliant.

❌ SOLD ❌ Second Life MasterClone Banjo 2014

❌ SOLD ❌ Second Life MasterClone Banjo 2014

Banjo-maker Carl Arcand routinely restores older banjos to give them a ‘second life’ from his Eastern Townships shop in Ulverton, Quebec. This fine example Second Life MasterClone Banjo is still archived on his site. This instrument is assumed to be based on a 60s or 70s Gibson TB-250 ‘donor-banjo’ pot with flathead bronze tone ring and fitted to an Arcand handmade replica neck. The resurrection work was completed and the banjo first sold in 2014. This Second Life MasterClone Banjo is certainly equal or superior to any 70’s original Gibson. It is what we would call a RB-250 Mastertone “clone” banjo or “Master-Clone” banjo.

❌ SOLD ❌ C. F. Martin D-21 Steel String Guitar, 1967

❌ SOLD ❌ C. F. Martin D-21 Steel String Guitar, 1967

The C. F. Martin D-21 Steel String Guitar is less common than its classic D-18 and D-26 brethren. Drawing on the same Dreadnought body design, the D-21 combines D-18 level decoration with the D-28 wood choice of Rosewood for the back, sides and headplate. In 1967, the word ‘Rosewood’ almost always meant Brazilian Rosewood, and this D-21 uses avery nicely figured set. By 1969, Martin had stopped offering Brazilian as an option. This C. F. Martin D-21 is fresh from being maintained and set up in our repair shop and it plays very well.
