The Larrivee J-05-12 follows the successful Jumbo 12-string design, used to great success by Guild and based on the Gibson super jumbo body originating in the late 1930s. This example dates to July 8, 1996 and was built in Victoria, British Columbia. The model number identifies it as a J body – Jumbo – in 05 trim, with Sitka Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides.

Here we have a rarity – a James Frieson Flamenco guitar, built while Frieson was working in his native Canada. He currently builds spectacular guitars in Hokkaido, Japan, and is one of, if not the only Western builder in that area. Frieson began building in 1972 and soon met South American luthier Olivo Espin, and worked with him for five years, developing his skill and knowledge.

These are simply some of the best sounding dreadnoughts made. Here we have a Collings D2H in standard kit, built during 2016 at the Collings shop in Austin, Texas. The top is high grade Sitka Spruce featuring pre-war scalloped X-bracing, paired with Indian Rosewood for the sides and back.
