Comments | Today we’re visited by a lovely Ron Belanger dreadnought guitar in Bubinga. Ron Belanger works in the area of Orillia, Ontario, where he’s been a woodworker for many years. In 1998 he started building guitars, and in addition to the instrument pictured here, builds Irish Bouzoukis, resophonic guitars, and 12-strings.
This example from 2004 is in good condition with minor wear. It’s clearly been played, as it has opened up to a full, rich tone that sparkles through the midrange and high end, with not too much bass. |
