❌SOLD❌ Morris Mini Muscle 20 1×12 Combo Amp, 2005

Here’s a Morris Mini Muscle 20, built by Glen Morris of Morris Amplification in 2005 as a single channel, 14 watt amp, and rebuilt by Morris in 2018 to provide a second channel and 20 watts.

Morris Amplification is based in Welland, Ontario and specializes in custom amp construction and repairs. Their client list includes producer Jack Douglas, John Angus and Jack Syperek of the Trews, James Black of Finger Eleven, Dallas Green of Alexis on Fire, and many more. They are often used in studios by better producers as well as stages.

The Morris Mini Muscle, like other Morris amps, is hand built using eyelet boards as opposed to point to point. This allows for a cleaner, more reliable and more easily repairable layout. All components are carefully selected and assembled with close attention to detail.

This Morris Mini Muscle 20 started as a fully custom, fixed bias single channel amplifier based on a 1954 Princeton circuit with a two 6V6 tubes, a power output of 14 watts, and a 2×10 inch speaker baffle. In 2018, its owner asked Glen Morris to rebuilt it as a two channel, 20 watt amp with a 1×12 baffle loaded with a MojoTone BV-30HY, similar to an Eminence P10R. The second channel is based on a blackface Deluxe Reverb and the output transformer matches the Fender Blues Deluxe. On the lower side of the chassis, there is a pair of jacks for the effects loop, and the jack for the included channel switching footswitch. 

This great sounding, very responsive amplifier is in excellent condition with no visible wear to the black tolex covering or grillecloth.
