The Maganatone Varsity Reverb is a 15 watt 1×12 combo amp built in St Louis Missouri, from the Magnatone company, re-launched in 2013 and now producing high quality amps.
While Magnatone was a prominent builder throughout the 1950’s, mismanagement and bankrupticies dragged the company down and by 1969 it had vanished.
Not quite a re-issue of the mid-1950’s Varsity Model 108, the modern Magnatone Varsity Reverb is a 15-watt combo amp with a single-12 inch speaker, brown tolex covering, and a great sound.
This example likely dates to around 2019 and is in excellent condition, including the Magnatone braded dust cover and hang tags!
