Hand built in New Jersey, the Louis Electric HD12 combines two late 1950s Fender circuits (Tweed Deluxe and Harvard) into one great sounding and practical amp. This compact combo amplifier uses a pair of 6V6 output tubes to deliver 18 watts through a single 12 in speaker, in this version by Jupiter Condenser Co.

This Louis Electric HD12 sports a two-tone tolex covering and is in great, clean and original condition. Visible in the bottom of the amp back is a 9×12 envelope containing the Certificate of Authenticity. This is dated 3/16/20 – March 16, 2020 – with a serial number of 2074, and carries Louis Rosano’s signature.

The 5F10 Harvard had a single 6AT6 input tube. The Louis Electric HD12 incorporates the 12AX7 along with the 6AT6 as an additional input. This provides the player with two distinct sounds from the amplifier. Slightly increased gain in addition to the traditional sound.”
