The Genz Benz Streamliner 900 Class D bass amp was introduced in 2011 and built until the brand, founded in 1984, was discontinued in late 2013. Throughout their years of operation, Genz Benz were known for innovative designs and high quality construction. Jeff Genzler, the founder of Genz-Benz now operates Genzler Amplification based in Brooklyn, NY.
Based on the highly efficient and lightweight Class D amplifier design, the Genz Benz Streamliner 900 head delivers up to 900 watts from a svelte 7 pound (3.2kg) box. It fits in its own padded gig bag, and with the head, Speakon and power cables packed up is just 10 pounds (4.54kg). The included NeoX112T speaker cabinet weighs 35.3 pounds (16.05kg). Overall this combination delivers tight low end punch with a thick tone with warmth and heft.
The NeoX112T cabinet has a date code of 05/11, indicating that both the amp and cabinet date to 2011, the year the Genz Benz Streamliner 900 was introduced.
This head and cabinet set are in very good clean condition and appear to have seldom moved. The head still has its original spec sticker!
