The Fender 65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue delivers a full, rich tone in a compact 22 watt 1×12 package, and has been one of the most used guitar amplifiers. This is an almost ideal amp configuration for a wide range of venues, from home to studio and small stages. At just over 41 pounds or 18.75 kg, it’s a solid, easily portable unit and doesn’t take up much space.
This particular Fender 65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue dates to January of 1999 at Corona, California. The original Jensen speaker has been replaced with a Weber Ferromax 12F150.
This amp is in great shape with no tears to the Tolex or grille cloth, and works well. The original two-button footswitch, controlling Reverb and Tremolo, is included.
Here’s the builder on the Fender 65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue:
“Iconic Fender Sound and Style
Played on countless hit recordings for decades now, the mid-’60s Deluxe Reverb is a timeless Fender classic and one of the most indispensable workhorse guitar amps ever made.
Moderately powered and producing a full, snappy and crystalline tone revered in studios from Muscle Shoals to Abbey Road and on stages worldwide, it’s a must-have tone machine.
Today, the ’65 Deluxe Reverb is still one of the coolest amps around, with the fantastic sound and vintage mid-’60s style still prized by rock, blues and country players everywhere. A classic then and a classic now. “
And here’s Weber on the Ferromax 12F150 speaker:
“Great blackface tone with ceramic punch. Replaces Chicago Jensen C12N and Oxford ceramic 12’s. 12″, 40oz ceramic magnet, 25 or 50 watts, 1-1/2″ voice coil, ribbed cone. Warm, smooth breakup, aggressive, punchy, loud.”
