Here’s a rarity, now discontinued – a Soldano Lucky 13 50 watt combo amp in purple tolex and loaded with a pair of 12 inch Eminence Legend speakers and a 3-spring Accutronics reverb pan. These hand built amps deliver tones ranging from clean Twin to high-gain Marshall and further! First produced in 2000, the Lucky 13 was recently discontinued. Construction quality is very high, with each amp built one at a time by one technician using top quality parts.

The Carr Bloke Amp, hand built from 2012 to 2015 at Steve Carr’s shop in Pittsboro NC, is a 50 watt, EL-34 based amp that can go down to 35 watts with 6V6 tubes. Its concept is based on classic British amps of the 1970s and 80s, combined with 1960s American power amp sections.
