From his shop in Chelsea, Quebec, Sergei de Jonge comes up with some innovative designs, and excecutes them flawlessly. This 2010 Sergei de Jonge Classical Guitar features a lattice braced, combination spruce and cedar top with Indian Rosewood for the back, sides and headplate, mahogany for the neck, and ebony for the fingerboard and bridge.

This example of the 1956 Gibson SJ is in good playing condition, with lots of wear. This guitar has been used as intended!

The body and neck are single pieces of Honduran mahogany, with an ebony board and headplate. The metal parts are Duralumin in the original Zemaitis design and a lot of engraving and decoration.
