Weber mandolins are made by Bruce Weber, who started building with the Flatiron mandolin company in Bozeman, Montana. Flatiron was purchased by Gibson in 1987, and in 1996 the brand was moved to Nashville.
Weber as a separate company began in 1997 with other former Flatiron staff who didn’t want to move to Nashville.
Weber has focused on hand building quality mandolins and other related instruments, such as mandolas, mandocellos, and octave mandolins.
