Vadim Custom Made Basses have been built in Canada by Vadim Rubtsov since around 1993.
Born in Odessa, southern Ukraine, Rubtsov has been interested in and working towards building instruments since his early teens. Arriving in Canada in 1989, he soon started into constructing basses.
Vadim Custom Made Basses exhibit very high quality in terms of craftsmanship, design and materials choices. His work came to public attention in the hands of Orin Isaacs, bandleader of the Mike Bullard show.
