Shijie guitars are the work of Alex Wong, who spent many years repairing and building from a shop near Guangdong, China. In 2014 after years of repair and the birth of his son Shijie, he established a production shop, at first mostly constructing custom necks for other builders. Over time, his own designs were introduced. With COVID lockdowns during 2020, the factory closed large parts of its custom and OEM business and focus turned to the in-house Shijie models.
Shijie gutiars are high quality, well thought out and well made instruments.
