The Roland Corporation is one of Japan’s premiere electronics manufacturers, and also produce the BOSS line of effects, software and other electronic equipment.
Established by Ikutaro Kakehashi during 1972 in Osaka, Roland quickly rose to dominance by building high quality, innovative and reasonably priced products. While guitarists know the BOSS line of effects well, Roland is also a major producer of keyboards, synthesizers, drum machines and studio hardware.
