Airline Guitars were made in the USA from 1958-68 for Montgomery Ward by Harmony, Kay, and Valco. Valco also made the National and Supro brands.
In many cases the Airline models are simply re-branded versions of the Harmony, Kay or Valco models.
In more recent years Airline guitars have been played by people like David Bowie, The Cure, Calexico and White Stripes.
Airline guitars are now built for Eastwood Guitars, based in Brampton, Ontario.
