Lucca Guitars are hand built in Glen Mills, PA by Ronald Lucca.
Ronald Lucca built his first classical guitar in 1969, and the next year entered an appreticeship at the Steinway Piano Company in Philadelphia. By 1975, he was a member of the Piano Technician’s Guild and struck ot on his own, becoming primary piano tuner for companies in the area.
In 1981, he entered a five-year Bachelor of Music programme, followed by a Masters in Music Therapy at Temple University in 1986.
By 1991, Lucca had opened a music store, in Glen Mills, PA, and continued building guitars and components. He became the official builder of Benedetto Ebony tailpieces and finger-rests.
Lucca is now well known for his high quality archtop guitars.
