Halcyon Guitars are built in East Vancouver, with its roots planted it Jean Larrivee’s Vancouver shop. In 1996, Ed Bond began working for Larrivee and for twelve years was Production and then Quality Control Manager. In 2002, Bond started working on his own ‘Tinker’ line of guitars outside of Larrivee, founding Halcyon Guitars in 2012.
When Larrivee moved shop to Oxnard, California in 2013, Bond and Ryan Jones chose to stay in Canada and now work out of Bond’s East Vancouver shop.
