Don Grosh guitars are built in Broomfield, Colorado. A veteran of the Valley Arts shop, Don produces high quality custom grade instruments.
After becoming a journeyman carpenter and learning metal working, in 1985 Grosh joined Valley Arts in North Hollywood. Here the client list included players like Larry Carlton, Steve Lukather, Jay Graydon, Lee Sklar, Vince Gill and Lee Ritenour among countless others.
These top shelf players have also developed a strong sense of what meets their needs, and Don learned to provide instruments that met and exceeded those needs.
Grosh’s Retro Classic is a take on improving the ‘S Style’ guitar, that groundbreaking product of Leo Fender’s genius, and early on was recognized by Guitar Player Magazine as one of the best renderings of the double-cutaway California bolt-on concept.
Since 2005, Grosh Guitars have been built in Broomfield, Colorado in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, near Denver in a new plant designed to allow the company to expand.
