The Greenfield Brothers of Edmonton, Alberta, produced a number of Hawaiian guitars in their fine cabinet shop from 1926 to the early 1930s. These were very high quality, fully acoustic lap style instruments, made in response to the popularity of Hawaiian music. Apparently the brothers left Canada for the Southern USA during the Depression and no further Greenfield guitars were made.
